It can be a great thing during tough times to reanalyze your business model. Maybe you need to think about reinventing yourself and your business. No matter how big or small it is always a positive measure to diversify what you offer your customers. Over the past few years more and more businesses change what they have been offering or change their services all together. Ad agencies help create plans for just this topic. Staying ahead of the game in any market keeps you at the top of the list. I learned from reading a very good book once that we should all look at what we currently offer and expand upon that. Think about what services you offer that are top notch. Take one principle and manipulate the once successful formula and think about diversifying. Maybe you’re an interior decorator for residential clients and business is slow. You can always offer restaging to Realtors and homeowners or face lifts to existing businesses that want to draw on a different market. You should be engaged and take another look at your business plan. There are always different ways one can recreate a business model successfully
